MAYFLY ON-WHEELS

Inspired by the Anti-Racist murals in the 80’s by Lubaina Hamid, Keith Piper and other artists, just after the anniversary of the Empire Windrush I collaborated with the On-wheels project space to roll the black painted floorboards from Windrush Square to Parliament Square. I spoke to several members of the public from all different cultures and continents, asking them to express their thoughts as I headed to join the Black Lives Matter protest that was focused on Black Trans Lives that day and the Shukri Abdi protest that had joined forces.
